This 3-acre plot is 10 mins to 3 beaches & the views from the hilltop down the Ceri Valley are sublime. Yet while location is everything, it’s what we’ve done with the place that really marks it out. Balancing the wild with the luxurious, Wild Wellingtons is an off-grid getaway where firepits, bbqs & immersion in nature remain the norm but you can still kick back in king-sized beds at the end of the day in a dome full of thoughtful touches. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The space Cromen Glan Môr (Seaside Dome) is our 4-5 person dome with a king size bed and 2 singles. Four guests are the perfect amount, though we can accommodate one more on a fold up bed or a travel cot if required (subject to availability/surcharges apply) though it will be a little bit of a squeeze. The four poster bed takes pride of place in the centre of the room and sits opposite the window to make the most of the panoramic views of Welsh hills, mountains, pasture and skies. ​Cromen Glan Môr is situated in our meadow, around 13 metres from the grassed play area. The kitchen cabin, showers and toilet are less than a minute away. This dome has a subtle coastal themed décor: natural materials in deep, calm colours, washed out effects and furnishings, candle lit hurricane lanterns and quirky ornaments, depicting things found at the seaside, embody our wild Welsh coast. This is no deckchair and beach hut kind of dome! Outside is your own private decked area with picnic table, parasol and firepit / barbecue with log seats and stools. We also supply two deckchairs for lounging around on sunny days. The dome is private but all other facilities on site are shared. See our reviews on G-00gle. Guest access Guests have access to acres of land, a sports pitch, play area, large trampoline, a raised, wooden camp kitchen, indoor barbecue cabin, outdoor bathing area (which has a huge bath and great views), an outdoor, wood fired pizza oven and two spacious, modern wet rooms. Other things to note Prices include access to the large indoor barbecue cabin (which can be used as an indoor firepit), outdoor firepits, outdoor bathing area with large bath and outdoor wood fired oven which makes amazing pizzas. Also included is a Welsh welcome hamper of local goodies, a pint of milk, starter amount of tea, coffee and sugar, toilet paper, a dishwasher tablet for each day of your stay, washing up liquid, hand wash, body wash for the outdoor bath, tea towels, dish cloths, hand towels and all bedding (excluding travel cots). Shared kitchen facilities include 2 hobs, 2 larder fridges (1 with ice box), dishwasher, wood burner, indoor and outdoor games for all ages, puzzles, children's book nook with mini library, maps, walking guides, array of wine glasses, cafetière, cooking equipment (including cooking grills, bowls and swing grill for the firepits) plenty of seating including a sofa, breakfast bar with 2 bar stools, large table with plenty of chairs, and highchair. We provide a comprehensive welcome folder with information about the area, its beaches, places to eat and drink etc. Our closest beaches are Llangrannog, Aberporth and Tresaith which are all stunning. Our nearest well stocked store with cashpoint is less than 5 minutes away. Tesco and Aldi just 20 minutes away.
