We have just added all new hardwood style flooring to the whole house to replace all the old carpet. Please take a look at 2nd "Workspace" sample photo to see what it now looks like. New photo's will be coming soon for the rest of the house. Also, within short driving distances to Beavercreek, Springfield, Xenia, Dayton! Along with being close to WSU, Nutter Center, WPAFB, Air Force Museum, UD, Cox Arboretum, Dayton Mall, Waynesville Antique shops, Caesar Creek. Guest access Everywhere is accessible to guests except for the garage. The garage has the old kitchen in and isn't suitable for guest use right now. Other things to note Please be careful with the new flooring, it will dent if you drop heavy objects on it, or scratch if scraped by something sharp. It is very expensive to fix and damages will be have to be paid for. As we allow dogs in this listing there maybe still some allergens in the air etc. If you do have any allergies please bare this in mind before booking. That said our cleaners do try their best to get all fur from the floors and furniture after each stay, so that hopefully isn't much of a problem. As the house is very close to Yellow Springs it actually backs up onto Yellow Springs road, so at the back of the house there is some road noise when outside or if you have the windows open. When the windows are closed at the back, you can hear some noise, but it's not that much. Some people might be sensitive to it though, so we do provide a white noise machine upon request That's the only bedroom at the side of the house that would hear anything, and with the white noise on, it's very difficult to hear any road noise at all (plus there's not much at night anyway). During grass cutting seasons we have a lawn service that comes out usually on Thursdays and we cannot control their schedule. So if you're there during the time they are they have to be allowed to complete the service without interruption. They usually take less than 30 minutes. Trash pick up is usually on Wednesday mornings (it can be delayed a day around holidays). If your reservation falls around that time feel free to take the green can out to the street if it's not already, and bring it back up once it's emptied. If you prefer, someone can stop by and do this for you.
