Colorado Springs Private Guest Suite near the AFA

Retreat to this amazing Black Forest secret! The guest suite, with a private entrance off the main house, is located on 5 wooded acres in Black Forest on the north end of Colorado Springs. It's an ideal location as you are in close proximity to I25, the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, hiking, restaurants, shopping, and so much more! The space Perfect for couples, small families, business travelers, or outdoor adventurers. Enjoy the beautiful forest and wildlife, the view of Pikes Peak, sitting on the patio outside your guest suite, a fire on the tabletop fire pit or taking a nature walk around the property. The unit includes a queen bed, a sofa bed, TV, microwave, 2 small refrigerators, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, Wi-Fi, and a propane grill on the patio. Other things to note • Check in time: 3pm-9pm • Check out time: 11am • This is a no smoking and no vaping guest suite • No pets allowed in the unit • No events, parties or loud music allowed Your guest suite has its own private entrance and keyless entry. If we are not home, you can still access the guest suite. The guest suite is not air conditioned because for the most part at this altitude it gets very cool at night and not too terribly hot during the day. Open the windows and bring in the natural Rocky Mountain air during our beautiful summers! There is a fan over the bed and portable fans in the bedroom closet if you need additional air. Continental Breakfast will be provided for the first morning of your stay. Items such as coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels or croissant, cream cheese, peanut butter, and jelly will be on the bar and in the refrigerator when you arrive. If you have any food allergies or special requests, please let us know 48 hours prior to your arrival. There is a Keurig coffee maker, toaster and microwave for your use. Regular and decaf coffee, green tea and hot chocolate provided. Silverware, dishes, extra coffee cups, glasses, napkins and paper towels are located behind the bar. We ask that no other guests stay here other than those on the reservation. Sophie and Bailey are our Bernese Mountain Dogs. They love guests, but please feel free to let us know if you'd rather them not be around when you are outside and we will bring them in. We are in the forest so be very aware of the wildlife that goes through our property (deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, moose and more) even though you might not see any during your stay. You also need to watch your step when walking through the forest as the ground can be uneven and there are pinecones and branches all over the floor of the forest.
