Cortijos Rey Fini large swimming pool and gardens

Cortijos Rey Fini is a unique tranquil getaway - 3 self-catering holiday cottages nestled around a swimming pool in Sierra Nevada National Park, close to Capiliera, Bubion and Pampaneira. Each Cortijo is independent making it the perfect getaway for larger groups (up to 12) Set in extensive grounds, with breathtaking views of Las Alpujarras, Granada just over an hour away. The space The three cottages which were once Moorish ruins have been modernised to provide everything one could need for the perfect escape in Southern Spain. Each cottage is complete with modern amenities whilst also preserving the traditional elements and architecture of these historical ruins. They share a large swimming pool complete with shaded areas as well as extensive grassed-area perfect for children to play as well as activities such as yoga, meditation and table tennis, not to mention fantastic hiking and trekking routes in all directions. The village of Trevelez, famous for it's cured ham, is only 4km away and the beautiful white villages of Bubion, Capilera, and Pampaneira are only 10 min away by car. Due to the rural location of the cottages we highly advise people take their own form of transport The 3 cottages consist of Almond which sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, Walnut which sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and Pablito which sleeps 2. Each cottage has its own private terrace with bbq facilities and wonderful views. Each cottage has its own washing machine as well. Behind Almond cortijo is a pizza/bread oven for guests to enjoy and beside Almond is a ping pong table. The gardens are extensive with lots of interesting corners to discover. We have a newly designed area under various ancient chestnut trees which is perfect for meditation, yoga or just relaxing in the shade. Guest access The access to the cortijo (rural cottage) is easy and guests may wander anywhere in the extensive garden which borders the National Park which makes hiking accessible through the park without the need of a vehicle. The cortijo is several hundred metres from the road and accessed through a long driveway with 2 gates. Each Cortijo has its own kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. There is a terraced area surrounding the pool and various shaded areas and guests will have access to the entire grounds at their leisure. Other things to note Please note, only one of the cottages (Almond) has wheelchair access with ground floor bedroom and bathroom, please get in touch for more details. The breath taking views, the hikes and the beautiful garden will be something that the guests will remember for ever. If you eat meat and like Jamon Serano then the Cortijos Rey Fini are only 3 kms away from the capital of Jamon "Trevelez". Trevelez claims to be the highest village in Spain. Our ideal location makes it easy for guests who want to visit Granada or go to the beach for the day. There are also villages of great interest nearby including Capiliera, Bubion and Pampaneira. Both in Trevelez and Capiliera there is horse riding available. All villages offer lots of bars and restaurants where you can try local gastronomy as well as international food. Guests can prepare their own bread and pizzas in the clay oven behind Almond cortijo. Please note that we accept guests who want to bring their dog on the following conditions: The dogs do not enter any of the houses as we sometimes have guests who are allergic to animal hair. We have a large kennel where they can sleep overnight if needed. During the day they can be free in the garden but please note that we have 2 dogs which run free in the grounds.
