Equestrian decor flavors this cozy second floor apartment. You will find a brand new walk-in shower, coffee bar, carpet, furniture, freshly-painted walls and fast fios internet. We technically live just outside of the town limits yet are only two miles from Route 1, which gives you quick access to Wilmington and Dover. Ten acres of woods and pastures surround our bucolic property. Our eventual goal is to host traveling nurses and military as we are close to several hospitals and DAFB. Over the garage apartment, with one bedroom, queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Kitchen features a stocked coffee bar plus gas oven, microwave and toaster oven. Laundry is in the garage and is for your use exclusively. Starter toiletries and laundry necessities provided. The stairway to the apartment is in our garage. We live in the rest of the house, are retired and keep to ourselves. The hot tub and picnic tables are available for your use...they are on the back deck and out front. A spare bicycle and kayak are available as well. There are trails leading from our property. The horses are for our use only. We are certainly available and anxious to make this apartment a complete success. We have rented it for thirty years as unfurnished, so I am happy to add anything that needs to be stocked or any issues I have overlooked. We are willing to make a reasonable offer to travel nurses; just let us know what works for you. Nestled on the edge of a small rural town, surrounded by ponds, farms and livestock. Rural/small town area. Parking is next to house which is set back behind a three acre horse pasture. Two miles east is the super-fast (relatively new) Route 1. Wilmington is not much more than a half hour away. Dover is fifteen minutes. I have a Catahoula who is an amazing protection animal. She will certainly cozy up to you and make you part of her "pack". If you fancy quail, ducks and chickens...we have nice flight pens with ponds.
