Cozy house by the foot of Lofoten's highest mountain

Welcome to spectacular Lofoten At Laupstad there are unique opportunities for famous peak hikes in Lofoten such as; Geitgallien, Higravtinden, Pilan, Kvittinden and Sautinden. It is also a nice starting point to experience northern lights and for trips throughout Lofoten and Vesterålen. Laupstad is about 20 minutes from Svolvær and 10 minutes drive from lovely sandy beaches. Here you can enjoy both peaceful days and active holidays with hiking, skiing/hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, etc. The space Gjermund and Kristin welcome you warmly here to Lofoten and the village Laupstad, which is located at the foot of several of Lofoten's highest and popular mountains. Here you have unique hiking opportunities throughout the year. The area is also popular for photography and fishing. The house is originally over 100 years old and there has been farming and fishing here from centuries until the 90 's. Gjermund has grown up on the farm and the family has had it as a holiday home in recent years. We ourselves live in Tromsø ourselves, 400 km unn Laupstad. We will be available for questions and assistance in relation to practical things by phone, message and email and then we have a fantastic good lady who helps us with practical tasks in relation to the preparation of the house and in and check out at Laupstad. Lofoten is not only known for its fantastic mountain range, but also for the northern lights, wildlife and bird life, beautiful beaches, art and culture, culinary experiences and all that the sea has to offer of experiences and tastes and much more. Laupstad is only a 25 minute drive from Svolvær and 20 minutes to the nearest airport Skagen. Guest access The property has its own shoreline and is in walking distance to the nature and mountains around. Here you can just take your skis on your neck or hiking shoes from the front door and pick and discard in nature experiences. The eagle is also often seen, both flying and on a rock in the spring. We also have otters and other bird life in close proximity to the house. There will be a map in the house of the area, but you can really walk where one you want in the fields and the spring. You are most welcome here to our house by the sea and we would greatly appreciate if you/you would like to spend time here at the farm that we love so much.
