Close to the banks of Allier, several walks are possible nearby. The accommodation located in the center of the department also allows you to be close by car: ⁃ Pal, animal park and amusement park (30 min) ⁃ Karting and a wake park (10 min) ⁃ the city of Vichy with its thermal baths, racecourse, etc. (35 min) Other things to note Monétay sur Allier is a small village of 500 inhabitants. Many hikes await you along the shoreline of the Val d'Allier nature reserve. There are also 2 restaurants: - La Bonne Soupe in the center of the village, open Monday to Friday and Sunday at noon. - La Vachette: restaurant open from May to September and offering very good burgers. Then, 5 minutes away by car, you will find a tobacco shop, a bakery, a supermarket, etc. in Châtel de Neuvre. Finally, for larger brands, you will have to go to Saint Pourçain sur Sioule (10 min by car). There is also the market every Saturday morning in the city center of Saint Pourçain sur Sioule.
