If you open the patio doors then the AC will need to be turned up HIGH to 85F so that it is more than the Outside temperature otherwise the Air Handler Unit will have issues. Likewise, turning the AC down too low will have no effect on the time it takes to cool the Condo and it is recommended to keep the indoor AC temperature no more than 20°F cooler than the outside temperature. A maximum difference of 20°F (11°C) prevents overworking the system and the system freezing over.
