The Hygge House - Respite in the forest
The Hygge House - Respite in the forest
Description
Escape into nature and experience the warm embrace of hygge (HYOO-gah) - a Danish word that describes a deep feeling of well-being. Nestled in a tranquil natural setting, our home is a sanctuary for slow living, rest, and fostering connection. The soft furnishings and natural light make this the perfect place to savor some of the simple pleasures of life - fresh baked cookies, a nap in our oversized deck hammock and meaningful conversation. Our hope is that you leave renewed. 12mi to Downtown The space Make a short drive into the forest to find our beautiful little black house sitting amongst lush green woods. The house sits at the end of a partially graveled driveway. The porch wraps two sides of the house and holds a two person suspended hammock off the deck. Read a book in the hammock or enjoy beverages in the two wooden adairondak chairs. After you enter the home, using the keyless pad, you are in the spacious open, one room space that includes a queen size bed, loveseat, and a dining area with views and access to the gorgeous outdoors. There is a closet for storing your suitcase and a functional kitchen with stove top, countertop oven and an under the counter freezer/fridge combination. From the queen size bed you can enjoy the view out the large windows or see the large screen smart TV. Guest access The Hygge House sits on 2 acres. You will have access to the whole place and may explore the surroundings, but be mindful and respectful of the few neighboring homes, none of which can be seen from the house. Other things to note Horse Park - Canton Trade Days - Pickers/Miranda - Tyler Airport - 15 mins Between Lindale, Tyler My wife and I live near by and on rare occasion you may see our little black Malteepoo, Klondike or our larger cream colored Aussie Doodle, Huck, out for a stroll. If you ignore them they will leave you alone and return home.
