Smokey Bay Cabin - Ocean View

This beautiful cabin overlooks Kachemak Bay, is located close to the center of town and offers guests an inspiring retreat to recharge from your adventures. The cabin is designed for a remarkably relaxing stay in Homer, Alaska. Not suitable for younger guests due to steep stairs. The space The cabin was designed to offer a truly enjoyable Homer experience. We want guests to not only have a relaxing night's sleep, but to also have a beautiful space to share with friends and family. LOFT: The loft has a luxurious queen bed and dormer windows looking out at Kachemak Bay and the mountains. The loft also has a large armchair, desk and chair for you to cozy up with a good book or work remotely with the most spectacular view. The stairs and loft are equipped with sturdy hand and guard rails, as safety in the cabin is a top priority. KITCHEN: The kitchen is outfitted with high quality appliances, free coffee and everything you need to cook with your group. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, dishware and glassware, utensils, cutting board, linens, and most importantly, coffee. LIVING ROOM: The living room has a medium-sized couch (convertible to bed), supplied with sheets, pillows, and blankets upon request. Look out the front windows and you'll see a massive view of the Kachemak Bay, glaciers and the local hillside. Listen to the hifi Yamaha sound system, all the locals tune the radio into AM 890 - KBBI. BATHROOM: The bathroom is equipped with a washer/dryer, iron, blow dryer, full length mirror, basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap) and cleaning supplies. OUTDOORS: The cabin sits on a hillside, surrounded by fireweed, lilacs, birch trees and TONS of beautiful plants. You can share good times out on the deck with several deck chairs, or play in the field, which grows wildly all around us. If you are lucky enough to stay at the cabin in the summer, you may be greeted by the sandhill cranes that visit our property each year. Other things to note The cabin has HIGH speed internet, up to 25Mbps, which is stunning for Homer Alaska!
