Welcome to The Lodge at Snow Mountain Farms! Tucked away in the woods, this is the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a long day on the slopes or the trails. The Lodge is conveniently located between Stratton Mountain Resort (20 min) and Mt. Snow (10 min). An idyllic getaway to experience all that southern Vermont has to offer with world-class skiing, snowmobile trails, hiking, fishing, golf, and so much more. The space Plenty of space for the whole family! This 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom ski house is ideal for large groups. Detailed with ample windows, vaulted ceilings, and wood floors, the open-concept layout serves as the perfect place to both relax and entertain. Cozy up next to one of two fireplaces, go for a dip in the hot tub, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, or chill out in the ultimate "apres ski" lower level! There is truly something for everyone at The Lodge. Main level: - 4 bedrooms, including the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom - Full guest bathroom - Living room with fireplace - Fully equipped kitchen - Laundry room - Outdoor deck with hot tub, fire pit, and dining area Lower level: - 1 queen-sized bedroom - Full guest bathroom - Spacious gaming room with oversized couch in front of the fireplace, and a bar area - Pool table - Ping pong table - Reading nook The Lodge is also equipped with complimentary firewood, a Weber propane grill, and 2 kayaks for guests to enjoy. *Midea air conditioning units in the living room and basement for summer season - May-August!* Guest access Wardsboro is a small town situated between Stratton and Dover. Our home is part of the Snow Mountain Farms community. During your stay, you will have access to the community recreation center which includes an indoor heated pool and tennis courts. Other things to note Check-In: We use a Smart Lock for access to the house. You will receive your own keycode prior to check-in. The Essentials: We provide a starter pack of coffee k-cups, tea, hot chocolate, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, and fire starters. If you need to stock up on supplies for your stay, there is a country store just down the road. *Please note, that we do our best to also provide a starter pack of toilet paper and paper towels, but please bring extra if you are worried about running out. We cannot guarantee there will be enough stocked for your entire trip.* Security: The house is equipped with two security cameras. One by the front door and one over the back door facing the backyard. It is for the safety of guests and the property. If you have any questions or concerns, please send them our way. Trash: Our cleaners will ONLY take up to 5 white kitchen trash bags per stay. Anything more you are responsible to take with you or drop off at the local Wardsboro dump. Critters: We spray for pest control multiple times a year and do our best to mitigate the issue, but in Southern Vermont, there are many critters in the summer months including spiders, mosquitos, moths, flies, and sometimes bears! Do NOT leave any food outdoors unattended/overnight. Travel: *The roads in the area are regularly plowed in the winter, but we still recommend all-wheel drive and/or snow tires during the winter months. *If you're coming to Vermont during 'mud season' (i.e. April-May) all-wheel drive is also a good idea.
