Guest access From Arusha/Moshi you have 3 options: 1 - A cultural experience by the local Fasaha bus to Mtae leaving @ 6:00. Arriving between 16:00 and 17:00. From the Mambo Junction (3km before Mtae) you can take a motorbike to the lodge for 5000 TZS. 2 - By express bus (Dar express or Kilimanjaro express), change in Mombo to Lushoto from there by taxi or local bus. A taxi is Tzs 180,000 from Mombo and Tzs 115,000 from Lushoto. The taxi is included in the all-inclusive packages. 3 - By taxi, 6-8 hours. From Dar es Salaam you have 3 options: 1 - By 6:00 Kibomboi bus to Mtae. Arrivingbetween 16:00 and 17:00. From the Mambo Junction (3km before Mtae) you can take a motorbike to the lodge for 5000 TZS. 2 - By 6:00 express bus to Lushoto or Mombo and from there by taxi. 3 - All the way by taxi (8-9 hours).
