A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais. The space The house is equipped with a new kitchen with stove, oven, extractor hood and fridge/freezer combination and cozy dining area, originating from the old farm. Of course, a Nespresso machine and kettle are not missing, as well as all the attributes that make a wonderful evening of "home" cooking with all the delights from Burgundy. A new bathroom with walk-in (rain) shower and new separate toilet can be found on the ground floor. The house can accommodate 4/5 people. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room/bedroom. A comfortable double bed on the ground floor is pleasant for those who are less mobile, with a sofa bed that can be transformed into an extra sleeping place in 1 click. In addition, a Smart TV on which you can stream your favorite programs. Via an easy closed staircase, you come to the first floor in a very cozy spacious bedroom where a nice double bed with extra thick mattress can be found, an air conditioning unit for the very hot days and a seat where you can quietly come to yourself. Guest access The fenced garden of about 207 m2 contains 2 terraces where you can enjoy a BBQ. The garden around the cottage and around the adjacent farm, the owners' home, is also accessible to you, the orchard where you can find cooling under one of the apple or pear trees is also freely accessible to our guests. The swimming pool with large sun terrace is only shared with any guests of the adjacent Gîte. Other things to note Our two Gites under 1 roof are completely independent homes. A fast charging point (120 kW) for electric cars can be found 1 minute away. Towels are available for rent for €5.00 per set of 2 towels, 1 small and 1 larger towel. We choose to do this to avoid unnecessary laundry and to keep our ecological footprint low.
