Volax, Tinos, unique landscape

A quiet, elegant and comfortable studio in one of the most beautiful villages of Tinos. Just 11 km from the port of Tinos and 9 km from Kolibithra beach in a unique landscape! Suitable for couples, families and friends. The space Welcome to Casa Mardi on the Greek island of Tinos. Our house is located in Volax, a small medieval village on a little plateau in the centre of the island, in an average altimeter of 284m above sea level. This old hamlet rests in a gorge that looks as if it has been pelted with boulders. Large, almost perfectly round grey rocks dot the plateau and slopes around Volax, creating a quite stunning sight and a unique geological phenomenon. Many houses of the village are built above and amongst these rocks giving the traditional Cycladic architecture a new perspective. Casa Mardi is located on the edge of the village, just opposite the church, and has a panoramic view of the island and the village with the wide blue sea in the background. The apartment is a spacious studio of 50 sq m situated on the ground floor of the house. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a living and a dining area, a king size bed and a sofa bed for two. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. There is no need for air conditioning as the space is quite cool. There is a lovely terrace in the entrance of the flat , a spacious yard and a lovely garden surrounding the whole house The apartment is ideal both for families and for groups of friends.
