Charming pet-friendly guest suite in the heart of Topanga Canyon. Enjoy hiking trail access directly from the neighborhood (including dog-friendly trails). Stroll the stunning garden with blooming roses, fruit trees, passionfruit vines, and every type of citrus you can imagine. Sit on the upper deck and enjoy the mountain vista as you watch our frequent hummingbird visitors. The beach is only a 10min drive away. Topanga town center is a 6min drive. Downtown Santa Monica is only 25min by car. The space The guest suite is a bottom floor apartment of a three-story house, with separate dedicated entrances. We only rent out the guest suite while we are away, so expect complete privacy for your stay! The backyard is fully fenced, so feel free to let your pup roam unencumbered. The yard has a fire pit (only to be used December-May due to open fire regulations), charcoal BBQ, smoker, corn hole, dart board, hammock, and a multitude of sitting and gathering areas. Two bedrooms (one with a queen sized bed and one with a king sized bed) are bright, airy, and colorful with garden views from each. Lush pottery barn linens and brooklinen pillows will lull you to a comfortable sleep. A well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to whip up a tasty meal, or just sit back with take out and a glass a wine. The kitchen has both island seating and a dining table for gathering. The living room has mountain views, and a smart TV for your relaxing evenings. Mountain views can even be enjoyed from the bathroom, complete with a glassed-in shower. The living room also has a queen-bed murphy cabinet, to accommodate up to 6 guests total in the suite. A desk is also present for those looking for a good spot to work remotely from a beautiful mountain retreat. Fast, reliable WiFi is provided. Beach chairs, towels, cooler, and a foam surfboard are provided for your beach-going fun. Guest access The house is located on a quiet residential street. There are two dedicated parking spaces for our guests in the driveway. The front door is equipped with a keyless entry system for your ease of use! Other things to note Cellular service is spotty in our area, but thanks to our WiFi you may use all of your devices (including your phone) reliably! Keep in mind when booking the space, that you should pre-download WiFi log in information and your guest access code. Additionally, the driveway is steep (as are most Topanga driveways). Topanga has a plethora of yoga studios, massage and spa offerings, breathwork, sound baths, nature tours, and fantastic places to eat!
