Originally built in 1970, our cottage has a rich history, and in 2023, we lovingly transformed it into a rustic-modern haven. This cozy escape balances old-world charm with modern amenities, ensuring your stay is comfortable and memorable. The space We bought this cottage during the pandemic with the idea to create a tranquil retreat outside of the city that we could use to recharge our batteries and enjoy nature. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the thought and care put into every detail. The brand new kitchen is a culinary haven, equipped with a dishwasher and all the essentials to inspire your inner chef. The bathroom boasts a luxurious rain shower head, offering a spa-like experience after a day of outdoor adventures. What truly sets our cottage apart, however, is the breathtaking view that makes you feel like you're floating amidst the trees of Muskoka. The living room features floor to ceiling windows overlooking the property, giving the affect of being within nature even when indoors. The primary bedroom, conveniently located on the first floor, features a queen-size bed for your comfort. Upstairs, you'll find two more inviting bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with cozy bunk beds, perfect for families or groups of friends. Step outside, and you'll discover a world of relaxation and recreation. A wood-burning fire pit sets the stage for memorable campfires and s'mores; and for water enthusiasts, there's private lake access complete with a deck overlooking the dock for sun-drenched relaxation or a shady retreat. We provide a canoe, a stand-up paddleboard, and inflatable floats for endless fun on the water. Your Muskoka getaway promises the perfect balance of tranquility, adventure, and natural beauty. Guest access Guests will have full access to the main cottage, sauna, as well as the lake deck and dock. Other things to note Our cottage is pet friendly! Your furry family members are more than welcome at our pet-friendly cottage! We understand that pets are an essential part of your vacation, and we've thoughtfully prepared for their needs. You'll find a cozy dog bed and dedicated bowls to ensure your pet's comfort and convenience during their stay. Our natural surroundings provide the perfect playground for your four-legged friend, with ample space for them to run, play, and explore the wonders of nature. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the woods or an adventurous romp by the lake, your dog will cherish every moment of their Muskoka adventure just as much as you do.
