Located in the fabulous Aruba Bay Waterfront Resort on Padre Island and within walking distance to the beautiful beach, we invite you to stay awhile and enjoy the island vibes where it’s always 5 o’clock! This resort style setting offers plenty of amenities for you to enjoy! The resort pool with slides, pickleball court, basketball, fitness center, and the Sunset deck and so much more! The space Welcome to the Crab Shack! Don't worry, Beach happy. Need a getaway? Some vitamin sea? Got trout on your mind and itching to drop a line in the water? How about an escape from your busy boring life and take a trip to the Coastal Bend for Island time and sandy toes. The Crab Shack is proud to accommodate you in this 2 Bedroom , 1.5 Bathroom coastal style townhouse which offers plenty of amenities including, 2 large pools, pickleball court, basketball goal, game room, fitness center, boardwalk for fishing, boat slips, and a short walking distance to the beach, and the Kokomo Yacht Club! All of this is located at the Aruba Bay Waterfront Resort! Bedroom 1: Offers a king bed with a plush mattress that will ensure a great nights rest after a long day at that beach. Relax in the bed at night while you catch up on your shows with the 42”tv. It also provides access to a beautifully bohemian styled patio that is sure to help calm your spirits and sooth your soul. Relax on the patio and have a Margarita from the Margaritaville machine supplied for your convenience in the kitchen and feel that Gulf Breeze. Bedroom 2: Offers a full bunk on bottom and twin on top to get those kiddos tucked away for the night/ or adults. No judgment here on who sleeps where. Both bedrooms allow quick access to the 1.5 bathroom located conveniently in the hallway between the bedrooms and living area. The main bathroom has a large walk in shower to refresh yourself from a day full of activities. The half bath offers a potty for those that cannot hold it while the others are in the shower. The Living Area: Offers a sectional couch, perfect for lounging, it also offers a full size hideaway. Need some tv time to wind down your day, get comfy on the couch and throw on your Netflix on the large wall mount tv. The Kitchen and Dining Area: Offers enough space to seat your party comfortably. The kitchen has all amenities needed for basic cooking, baking, and roasting. Basic spices such as salt, pepper, and oil will be provided. If you are a creative chef then feel free to bring your own spices! Grilling: We encourage you to grill out on the many available charcoal/gas grills available for you to use on the resort grounds. We provide a grilling set that even includes a thermometer. All we ask is that you clean up the utensils and place them back in the bag after you are done and clean up your surroundings for the next person to enjoy. Outside: You will find a nicely setup patio complete with a selfie wall, wicker lounger chair and patio set for you to enjoy those evenings. At night you will find yourself surrounded by dimmed lighting emanated by mason jars hanging from the fence. Feel free to set up your cooler and crack open a cold one while listening to the gulf waves or your favorite tunes! The Aruba Bay Waterfront Resort also offers plenty of hangout square footage for you take advantage of as well. Walk down to the boardwalk and drop a line or enjoy the upper deck with a cold beverage as you gaze at Lake Padre! What We Provide: - All Kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, oil, dish soap, and dishwasher pods) - Bathroom essentials (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, hand towels, bath towels, face towels and at least one roll of toilet paper per restroom. - Laundry essentials (detergent pods and dryer sheets) *Please DO NOT USE the bath towels as beach towels! Otherwise you wont have anything to dry off with when you shower! Please provide your own beach towels to use! **For extended stays we encourage you to provision these items ahead of your visit. Notes to consider: *** Must be 25+ to book “The Crab Shack” ***This is a smoke/vape/hookah/pipe free Crab Shack! The use of recreational drugs is PROHIBITED. Any evidence of ANY and EVERY type of particular drug use or storage of said substance(s) or drug related paraphernalia at the Crab Shack will incur additional cleaning fees. ($500 minimum fee) *** “The Crab Shack”, owners/property managers and or cleaning staff are NOT responsible for items left behind. (Please see the “House Rules” section for additional details) ***One exterior security doorbell camera is installed. ***This is a family and pet friendly townhouse in a quiet resort setting. With that being said if you’re bringing along your furry friend (up to 2 max) there will be a pet fee required once you book ($99). This fee helps with cleaning preparation in keeping it pristine for the next guests and furry friends! Please be respectful to your neighborly guests and yourself! Strict no party rules for this Crab Shack! ***If you are trailering your boat to the resort please let us know so that we can check for a boat slip vacancy. There is a separate fee on a daily basis for this. The resort boat slip is right outside the Packery Channel which leads to the Gulf of Mexico and it beats waking up super early to drive and going to a public boat ramp daily! If you do take advantage of this, all you have to do is hop in the boat and go! ***At The Aruba Bay Waterfront Resort you and your party will have access to resort events and special amenities that the Kokomo Yacht Club and Resort may hold. Access to the Kokomo Yacht Club and both of the heated pools, fitness center, pickleball court, and game room. *** Pool Rules • No Lifeguard on Duty • No Animals in the pool or on the pool deck • No Glass in the pool or on the pool deck • Swim Diapers required for children not potty trained • No diving or running • Wristbands required for access ***The wristbands will be left on the kitchen counter. Depending on the party size (Max 6) will be left. If wristband(s) are missing we will require a $25 fee for each missing wristband. ***The beach is well within walking distance and if you decide to spend all of your time there you have the option of parking at the Michael J. Ellis seawall parking lot or just drive on the beach itself! The state of Texas offers this great privilege for us to enjoy! If the thought of driving your personal vehicle onto the sand is too much then we encourage renting a golf cart located at the Salty Dolphin Bar @ 15201 Windward Dr. in Guest access You will have access to the entire townhouse. Other things to note *Hoses will be provided in the patio in the area for you to wash off excess sand off yourself and items. There will be cleats out on the patio for you to hang up your personal beach towels. After booking, you will receive a link to a guidebook created for this area.
