The space A separate cottage in newly converted horse stables . The open plan room consists of a Queen size bed, fresh percale linen, 2 seater sofa, small kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette is only suitable for heating up meals , making toast or refrigerating meals. No stove or cooking facilities besides a charcoal B.B.Q. The cottage can be booked just for 2 or alternatively for a travelling party of 4 if you book the next door Stable Cottage 2. Each cottage has a small back garden with barbecue facilities and a small wooden deck/patio in the front with Mountain View’s where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Each cottage has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy in the colder months. Guest access Guests have access to the entire open plan 1 bedroom cottage with its own en-suite bathroom. Including the small back courtyard and front wooden patio. Guests also have access to the tennis court on the farm if they bring their own tennis shoes. Please note it is a working farm so there are geese, chickens and dogs (friendly) wondering around now and then. There are a few small duck ponds around the cottages you are welcome to have a walk around. During your stay The caretakers of the farm Newby & Lynda will be there to offer help throughout your stay. Other things to note The accommodation is on a farm in Broadlands. There is a gate to manually open and close at the bottom of the property. Please keep closed from 7h00 to 16h00 for the horses and donkeys. We recommend you check in during daylight hours and not in the dark as you have to manually open gate 1. Please be advised that it can de difficult to get an Uber out to the rural farm areas, so we advise guests to pre book a ride a day or 2 beforehand.
