1 bed / 1 bath condo located in charming and rustic Bear Creek Lodge is nested in a quiet forest and surrounded by majestic peaks of San Juan Mountains. It is located just a short walking distance from Colorado's iconic ski-in/ski-out resorts, brand new mountain bike park and endless hiking trails. The condo is only a short walking distance from a Free Gondola that will connect you with historic town of Telluride and Mountain Village Court. Perfect accommodations for a couple. Bedding: King bed Enter this condo through the exterior hallway on the lobby level (3rd floor) and walk into a hallway that opens to spacious area with a full kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast bar with 2 bar stools, dining area that seats 4 and living room with a gas fireplace, balcony and forest views. The bedroom is furnished with a king bed and flat screen TV. The bathroom is in the hallway and has a shower/jetted tub combo. Unit also includes, hairdryer, coffee maker, microwave, and other kitchen appliances to create your own personal high altitude specialties. The Bear Creek Lodge offers free wireless internet access, a fitness center, newly-remodeled outdoor year-round heated pool and hot tubs, grills, a fire pit, sauna and a free shuttle for guest use within Mountain Village. A funicular is located onsite for easy ski access to the Lower Village Bypass run in the winter. Parking at the Bear Creek Lodge is NOT guaranteed. One parking spot per unit is available on a first-come, first-served basis for $25 per night. If parking is not available at the lodge, parking is available at the Gondola Parking Garage for $25 per night. The Gondola Parking Garage is located behind Market Plaza and is accessible via the on-demand shuttle at the Bear Creek Lodge. Hands on help can be had using front desk of the Lodge. Bear Creek Lodge is set in a quiet setting (forest) at 9,500 ft altitude. It is a walking distance (through a forest trail) to Market as well as Free Gondola. It is located in Mountain Village NOT Telluride proper. One can access both via Free Gondola or short scenic ride to town. Mountain Village is more residential quiet place to stay, close to hiking trails and ski in-ski out. Parking at the lodge is first come first serve and is extra $25.00 a night. Once at the Lodge guests can use a free shuttle that can get them to the Free Gondola (will take them to Telluride) and also to Mountain Village Court. There is also a Free Bus Shuttle (closest one is a the Market) that can take you to Telluride and around Mountain Village. Parking in Mountain Village and Telluride is limited and one pays a parking fee. Telluride / Mountain Village is a town that has two main seasons - Summer and Winter. We have 2 'shoulder' seasons - off seasons when many things may not be open. Gondola does not run during off-season Some restaurants/bars/stores close for this season. Please check with the front desk and what is open. It changes from season to season / year to year. Staff here at Bear Creek Lodge is limited during this time as well. Please be patient with them.
