Dr . Keenan's cottage is the newest of the 5 cottages located on the 11 acre private island. Built in the 1970's it features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an open concept Livingroom /kitchen. This cottage also boasts a large screened in porch with breathtaking views of the Southwest Miramichi river. It contains all necessities from dishes to linens, a barbeque and private fire pit. The space Doctor's Island is a privately owned 11 acre island located in the picturesque village of Blackville NB. Blackville is a quaint country village with all amenities that include grocery store, hardware store. Boat ramp , Beautiful Village park with Kids splash pad . Gas stations and NBLC , ATV, snowmobile and walking trails . Guest access All of guests are welcome to use the main lodge which houses a large kitchen , Dining room and Livingroom, as well as laundry facilities . Guests will also find in the main lodge a variety of board games, card games as well as books for their use. Other things to note This is a private island with five cabins so there will probably be other guest. That cabins are spread out over 11 acres so your privacy is respected ..
