In the heart of this beautiful town, on the edge of the Lake District, you will find our spacious and charming holiday home. Bring your dogs and enjoy stunning walks from the doorstep or, within minutes, some amazing mountain, woodland and lake hikes offering spectacular scenery. Keswick is a 20 min drive away; Whinlatter Forest is nearby for hiking/biking/Go Ape! To unwind you can enjoy all that Cockermouth has to offer; independent shops, wonderful pubs, cafes and restaurants. Kitchen sitting room with TV, and separate comfortable lounge with TV and electric piano. Free Internet access. Walk in cupboard to store coats and shoes. Double patio doors leading to fully enclosed back yard with patio furniture. Access to outbuilding housing small size pool table/table tennis table and dart board and lockable bike storage. First floor bedroom 1 with king sized bed; bedroom 2 with twin beds; bathroom with shower over bath. 2nd floor bedroom super-king/2 single zip and link beds; bedroom 4 with double bed. Lockable Jack ‘n Jill shower room for bedrooms 3 and 4. Bedrooms at the front of the house have views of the river, and the back rooms look over the bowling green. Other things to note No smoking inside or in the garden Bike storage (lockable) is available Dogs are permitted but must stay downstairs in the property. Stair gates will be provided. There is a £20 charge for 1 dog, plus £10 each additional dog per stay The property has 2 flights of stairs. The property is in a very quiet residential area so no parties or excessive noise. Quiet 10pm-7am. Parking is available in riverside car park which is a few75 metres from the front door. £6 for 24 hours.
