Our cozy apartment "Brenta" is the right place for peace-seeking hikers, mountain enthusiasts and nature lovers who prefer to avoid overcrowded tourist hotspots. The space The apartment BRENTA (33m²) is located on the 1st floor of our farm Unteresslern and is oriented to the north-south. The apartment, which is suitable for two people, has a kitchen-living room with a seating area, a table and a couch, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. From the balcony you can enjoy a unique view of the surrounding Maddalene group as well as the Brenta and Presanella group with its glaciers. Here you are in good hands if you like to take care of yourself. After a day of hiking, you can end the day here in peace of mind. Our small mountain farm Unterkesslern is located at an altitude of about 1200 m and is in a very sunny location, less than a five-minute walk from the village center of Laurein am Deutschnonsberg. Our farm is surrounded by vegetable, herb and flower gardens, berry bushes and fruit trees. On our farm there are calves and some cows for milk production, chickens, our cat Speedy and some bee colonies. Through an extensive management method, we try to handle natural resources as gently and sustainably as possible. For example, we refrain from using artificial fertilizers and try to limit feed purchases to what is necessary. Through the regular mowing of labor-intensive mountain meadows, we also contribute to the maintenance of the typical landscape and the conservation of the biodiversity of certain habitats. We obtain electrical energy and heat mainly from renewable energy sources – namely from the solar panels and the photovoltaic system on our roof as well as from the firewood that we get from our forests in autumn for the lighting of the logging system.
