Enjoy our, large house near Digby. Relax on the back deck viewing St. Mary`s Bay, have a BBQ, or enjoy the firepit. My husband and I live in a separate area on the main level. All rental bedrooms are upstairs , each with their own bathroom ;with your separate TV/games room on main floor and the well appointed large kitchen with your designated small fridge and freezer. We have a friendly cat, Nick , that can be separated from your area. The front sunny porch is good for a quiet read or drink. The space Bedrooms are all upstairs each with private bathrooms. The small Queen Bedroom has Ocean View. The large Master has an area for office work and the Twin Bedroom is spacious. You will enjoy our decor which is current, and up to date. Tea and coffee available, and the kitchen is well equipped, and stocked with oil, spices, etc., coffee, tea, milk, cream and sugar. Homemade pizzas can be pre ordered and made here and cooked with our pizza stone upon request. Extra charges for the pizzas. Great sharing on the deck overlooking the bay with a spectacular sunset and Fire Pit. Guest access Guests are able to access the kitchen, large back deck, your private TV room/ games room, and the small enclosed front porch. During your stay We love to share our knowledge of unique spots to visit in our area and to make your holiday a special adventure. There are some great spots off the usual radar that should not be missed. We allow a pet but guest must communicate first upon booking. The pet information must be done prior to booking. Thank you. Other things to note - Savary Park which has beach access, and a Rail Trail a couple of kms away. Nearby is Bear river, which is an artist community with 2 fantastic art galleries with local crafts for sale, as well as a good coffee shop, Sissiboo Coffee, two cafes, and two wineries. Whale watching at Digby Neck is approximately an hour and a half including ferry rides which are a 5 minute free ride each. A good hike is at Balancing Rock on Long Island. Also the south Acadian shore with Cape St. Mary`s Bay has a beautiful look-out and beach nearby. We have one bike for use if needed, croquet for adults and children, a fire pit on the back deck, Gilbert`s Cove Lighthouse nearby with an enclosed tea room. A 30 minute drive to Annapolis Royal which has an English Fort Anne and another drive to the French Port Royal- fort. Annapolis Royal has the fantastic Heritage Gardens, a brewery,Annapolis, cafes, Arch and Po Bakery, Whiskey Teller- gastro Pub, an ice cream shop, art galleries, a museum, Annapolis Market on Saturdays. Our favourite local brewery is in Smith Cove- Lazy Bear, and on Thursdays from 5 is entertainment and a Pizza Truck. Children are welcome.
