Travel is a breeze around Rarotonga. The island is just 32 kilometres in circumference and there are only two main roads. For most visitors, the choice of the hourly bus or very cheap motor scooters is the preferred method of getting around. Rental cars and jeeps are also available close by. The 'Island Bus' offers a convenient low cost method of transport, operating regular schedules around the island (in both directions). It will pick you up and set you down anywhere on request.
