Just midway along Llŷn Peninsula’s north coast path, steeped in magic, there are many slopes to conquer. For those after a quiet mooch, the sandy beach at Morfa Nefyn leads to picturesque Porthdinllaen, originally a fishing port based around a natural harbour. The pub, Ty Coch, which lies at the top of the beach is the best beach bar in the world apparently – you will have to try it for yourself. The golf course It is set high on the sea cliffs of the narrow peninsula overlooking Porthdinllaen bay – not for the faint-hearted though. Nefyn is the next village – small and thriving with cafes and shops. Nefyn beach is a two-mile long sweep of sands, but if you need more coast, Abersoch is about a 20 minute drive away, or Aberdaron is about the same.
