Looking over beautiful False Bay, peaceful Kelp House has direct views of breakers, boulders and kelp beds. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing sea-views from 2 bedrooms and a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with Hangklip visible across the Bay . Enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets and moon risings on big deck with outdoor dining area, firepit and barbecue. Only 5 minutes to walk down to the shoreline, 15 min walk to a swimming beach and 5 minute walk up the road to a mountain path. The space The whole house is available for your private use and has a large patio/deck in front leading off the lounge area for your exclusive use. There is dedicated off-street parking for guests of Kelp house, in a driveway behind a remote controlled gate from the street at the back of the house. There are two 1-bedroom apartments are on the property as well, situated below and out of sight of the rooms in the house on a lower level. The guests for these apartments access the property from a different remote-controlled gate from the street at the front of the property and have separate parking in a driveway below the house. Please note that we have 2 other separate one-bedroomed ensuite double-bed apartments on the property, Dolphin Apartment and Penguin Apartment. Both have daybeds in the lounge/bedroom that allow additional people to stay (maximum 2 additional in Penguin and 1 additional in Dolphin). Penguin has a separate private patio and pool area that is spacious and good family fun as well. Great for dive holidays! It has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and we provide washing powder. There is also an washing line. Other things to note Kelp House is in a quiet neighbourhood. It provides a peaceful retreat and a fun place for families and friends. The house is in a great location for trips to the beach, scuba-diving, snorkeling or kayaking, visits to Boulder beach, mountain walks, trips to Cape Point, and to explore the picturesque town and port of Simonstown with many restaurants and interesting small shops and craft stalls. The house is not suitable for events or parties, and guests are expected to ensure they do not make a lot of noise. The house is on a property with other apartments. No loud music is allowed, and 20h00 to 08h00 are quiet hours so as not to disturb the peace and enjoyment of other guests or of the neighbours. There are baboons in the area so it is important to lock all doors and windows when out so that they do not raid, and it is best not to leave food out where easily visible. We do have 2 other apartments on the property that can be booked simultaneously is available - the one is Penguin Apartment (4 pax max) and the other Dolphin Apartment (3 pax max).
