Bright and quiet room overlooking the garden. Perfect for a solo traveller to stay and read or write between trips to Pakington Street cafes or beaches. This is your private space, with a comfortable queen bed, a good-sized desk and closet space. The bed can also be split into twin singles. The living space is beautiful and light and open plan. There is ample space for someone to sit in the reading nook while someone works from the desk, eats from the dining table or cooks in the kitchen. Two outdoor areas create more space for guests, too: the backyard is fenced and mostly decked. The front yard has a beautiful garden with birds and flowers, and it is beautiful to watch from the patio during sunsets. The kitchen is recently renovated with an induction cooktop and all modern conveniences. The standard bed setup is a comfortable pullout double bed. Room size is best for one adult, up to two children, or couples for short stays. During your stay I will usually be around and often work from home. This room would particularly suit solo writers or students who like to work quietly during the day (in the room or on the dining table), and then enjoy chatting over dinner or watching TV on one of the very-comfortable couches.
