Central location with parking. Morpeth is known as the gateway to Northumberland. The town has plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and cafés. Some people like to hike in the Cheviots, or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands or spend a day over at Holy Island driving over the causeway at certain times of the day. Alnwick Castle is easily reached up the A1 where you can visit the castle which is now famous for the Harry Potter scenes in the early films. All of this is easily accessible from Cottingburn House with the major roads only a couple of minutes away. Beach 9 miles. Shops, restaurants and pubs only 250 yards.
