Guest Suite in Paris/Brant

This private suite in Paris, Ontario, 'Canada's Prettiest Little Town', is the perfect place to relax after a day outdoors. Bring your bikes/kayaks/canoe and hiking shoes, the suite is close to numerous trails and access points on the Nith and Grand Rivers. The suite is attached to the front of our home, which is located in a residential neighborhood. We are a 20 minute walk from downtown Paris, six minutes from the 403, thirty minutes from Hamilton Airport and 1.5 hours from the GTA. The space Welcome to the Gander Guest House! •The private entrance is located at the front of the house, our check-in process is easy and keyless and there are no shared spaces. *Please note* the back wall of the suite is attached to our home, so it is important to understand that it is not soundproof. While there are only two of us and we take steps to minimize noise, you will hear sounds from our side of the house during daytime hours. We have two dogs, Murray & Mabel, therefore guests can expect to hear dogs barking on occasion, never overnight (10pm to 7am). We want to be transparent about this to ensure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. •Kitchen Includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, kettle, Brita water filtration system. There is a Keurig coffee maker with enough pods to get you started and a French press with ground coffee provided. •Large living room and private front porch Located at the front of the house, after a day outdoors you can relax on the extremely comfortable leather sofa or in the summer months, on the spacious front porch that has two large chairs. There is a 50 inch television, which includes an amazon fire-stick to access your favorite streaming apps. There are also many board games and puzzles to choose from. •Bedroom Located at the side of the house, this room has a queen size pillow top mattress, spacious closet and a large dresser. •Bathroom Has a vanity and large walk-in shower that has two shower heads; one hand held and an over-head 8 inch rainfall. •High speed internet •Central air conditioning •Free on street parking directly in front of the suite. **If you are scent sensitive please advise and we will use unscented detergent/softener, etc. when preparing for your stay* Guest access You will have exclusive access to this very bright and spacious suite. It is located at the front of our house and has a large window overlooking the front yard and street. We are located at the back and have our own private side entrance to our premises. There is a single interior door that connects the two spaces, which is locked/bolted from both sides. Other things to note *Please keep in mind that we live in a residential neighborhood, so please respect our neighbors. 1. Complimentary supplies such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels and coffee are provided to get your stay started off right. Longer stays will be responsible for purchasing items as needed. If there's anything that you have forgotten, text us and we'll try to assist with whatever we can. 2. The suite is a 15 minute walk to Lions Park which is located on the Nith River. Over the bridge from Lions Park is downtown Paris which has an excellent selection of restaurants, patios, cafes and shops. 3. Your well being is our top priority. We adhere to high cleaning standards with additional COVID-19 specific recommendations from the WHO, CDC and Canadian Public Health Agency guidelines.
