Steps away from the famous Chinatown and public train stations, The Open House Cafe and Hostel belongs to a Chinese-Thai family for over 80 years. Our great grandfather who was a carpenter and a contractor originally built this place to be a "love motel". After generations of renovation, it finally became our latest hostel rich of history and local elements. We keep most of the nostalgic items and even the art pieces to tell our story to our guests. "There is nowhere like this place" The space The room is on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building. No elevator. (304) It has one queen bed, a working table and a cabinets. The shared bathroom is on the same floor, you will be sharing with other guests. We separate male and female. Guest access You can use our common space such as lobby, patio, washing/drying area and our rooftop (our rooftop has the best view) We also provide fresh, cold and hot water dispenser at the lobby! Feel free to fill your water bottle anytime :) And a small shared pantry on 2nd floor with refrigerator, kettle and microwave to use. Other things to note Before booking: Please be aware that this property is situated near local alleys and rowhouses, and so it could be noises from neighbors that we cannot control- if you would like to explore the local essence of Chinese-Thai community then this is the perfect place. **Also please be noted that we do not provide any refund for any circumstances**
