Sleeps up to 10 people! Walking distance to all of Three Oaks and <10 minute drive to New Buffalo, wineries, beach, & more! The Common Areas The front porch welcome you as you approach the home, and the rocking chairs are the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or sundowner while overlooking the beautiful neighborhood. Inside, the main floor is open and light, filled with beautiful historic details that were preserved during the recent renovation. The living room has plenty of comfy seating and space to play a board game, listen to a record, or watch a movie on the 65" Smart TV. If extra sleeping space is needed, the very nice and very comfortable double thick queen size inflatable bed with built in pump can be used in this space also. The open floor plan flows through the beautiful dining room with seating for at least 8, and into the open kitchen. The kitchen is light and bright and a wonderful place to create a special meal together. It is very large with tons of storage space for all your food and drinks, and features a Coffee & Tea Station, Mixology Station, and small library of classic cookbooks. Out back is an outdoor oasis made for lounging eating or relaxing around the outdoor dining table, grilling on the gas grill, making S'mores around the fire pit, or running and playing in the large, fully fenced grass yard. The Sleeping Areas On the main floor you will find two nicely sized bedrooms, with a full bath located just next to them. Upstairs is the fully renovated bunk space with 4 twin size beds and brand new full bath. We're serious about a comfortable night's sleep! Each of the bedrooms feature a premium hybrid mattress, premium 100% cotton linens, a choice of types and sizes of pillows, blackout curtains, ceiling fans, and nightstand charging stations. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed, chest of drawers, and walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, large dresser, and closet. Bedroom 3 is located upstairs and features 4 twin beds, large dresser, and clothes hanging space. Premium Inflatable Bed- This isn't the inflatable mattress you remember from your childhood! If extra sleeping space is needed, we have a very nice and very comfortable double thick queen size inflatable bed with built in pump available. The mattress and linens are stored in the cabinet under the stairs. Whole Home Water Purifier- Every home in Three Oaks Village is on village water which, although clean and safe, has an extremely strong sulfur/rotten eggs smell. It's a village-wide problem, and it's pretty off-putting. So we recently installed a top-of-the-line whole home water purification system. We have found that the system has made a huge difference, eliminating any smell in the water. You have full access to the entire property, including the front, side and back yards and the detached garage. The only exceptions are the storage areas behind the curtains in the basement, and the locked owner's closets. We are always just a message away! If anything comes up during your stay let us know. The Craftsman is perfectly located on one of the most beautiful streets in the charming village of Three Oaks! Everything that Three Oaks has to offer is within short walking distance, including Journeyman Distillery, Acorn Theater, free concerts in the park, museums, antique shops, and several excellent restaurants and bars. Three Oaks itself is an ideal jumping off point for all your adventures in and around the New Buffalo area and Harbor Country. Within a 10-20 minute drive you will find wineries, sand dunes, nature walks, breathtaking beaches, orchards, farms, splash pads, playgrounds, and countless restaurants and boutique stores. Notre Dame football games are just 30 miles away, and in the winter you can be skiing and snowboarding at Swiss Valley in under an hour. Our place is very family friendly with toys and a play area for younger kids and lots of board games, books, video games, DVD movies, and outdoor space for kids & adults of all ages. And if you have little ones, we have a high chair, Pack n' Play, and full kid-friendly dining set available for your use.
