This beautiful BEACH-FRONT cottage is great for a couple but also has families in mind offering many unique amenities; LIGHTHOUSE & WATER view, screen room, fire wood and pit, kayak use, swimming and clam digging right at our beach, full kitchen WITH dishwasher, dimmable lighting, air conditioning, Weber BBQ with propane, smart TV and WIFI... etc! The warm water is perfect for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, and digging clams when the tide goes out. The sand bars are a gold mine of fun for children, offering opportunities to play, build sandcastles, collect shells, and splash in the shallow waters. This beach is sure to inspire a child's imagination and provide hours of free entertainment! Guests will have access to a tandem as well as three single kayaks. Often times, in the evening & morning, the water on the Cardigan River turns to glass and is absolutely perfect for kayaking. If it isn't wonderful enough...your paddling experience often turns into your very own, personal, seal watching tour! Amazing! Guests also have access to laundry facilities and an outdoor shower and foot wash outside of The Pumphouse (kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, and toys for the children are also stored in this building). Other things to note Georgetown the Capital of Kings County is the perfect little fishing village to spend the day exploring. With less than a 5-minute car ride you can find everything from local restaurants with island seafood cuisine, a Play House theater, art gallery, sweet shop, and handmade sea glass jewelry shop. Georgetown is packed with cultural experiences and inhabited by friendly locals. The local theater is one of the longest running theaters in Canada with many live shows and entertainment options to fill your evenings. The beautiful grounds at the Play House and the many old churches are a great way to spend the afternoon strolling through the town. Tranquility Cove Adventures also sets sail daily from Georgetown offering many experiential adventures from giant bar clam digging, starfish hunting and deep sea fishing! Clam Diggers and the Wheel House Restaurants are both less than 5 minutes away. For the avid golfers, Brudenell River and Dundarave Provincial Golf Courses are located less than 5 minutes away.
