Glebe Acre Cottage

Unwind at our peaceful cottage, tucked away in a quiet Lincolnshire village. With easy access to the A1 just 3-4 minutes away leading to Grantham, Stamford to the South and Newark and York to the North. The village of Long Bennington (4 mins by car or 20 mins by foot over country paths - difficult in the dark / can be muddy) offers 3 pubs with food, 2 takeaways, a coop store, and cafe, with beautiful walks along the river Witham from the doorstep, a real retreat from the busy and hectic. The space Enter the cottage from the ample parking area (2 cars max, trailers accepted please advise in advance), into the well equipped kitchen / dining (seats 3 people) space, including; oven, hob, fridge, kettle and washing machine, sorry no microwave. Climb the stairs to the cosy eaves bedroom space, with a large double bed and a further single bed, a seating area plus TV, Bluetooth speaker and wifi throughout (40-50mbs typically). An ensuite shower over bath bathroom, with sink and WC. Finally a guest table and chairs outside the front door completes the accommodation. Guest access The property offers independent space with its own separate parking and front door. Please park in front of the front door leaving the garage accessible. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are provided. Free WiFi is available - however, we are a rural property and so connectivity can be variable at times. Use of the additional single bed comes at a surcharge, please enquire. Early arrival and late departure can sometime be accommodated, please make a request via this app. The local Co-op has 2x EV chargers, and there are a further 10x Tesla & 10x Other chargers at the Gonerby fuel station - 10 minutes drive from the property, South on the A1. The cottages bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs in the eaves space. In summer this can be quite warm so a mobile AC unit is usually available (water tray needs to be regularly emptied so cannot be left unattended). A single pet is acceptable, but we kindly request your care in keeping the cottage in good order, damage and excessive dirt / stains will incur charges.
