Welcome to Golden Crown Cabin located in charming East Jewett, NY minutes from Hunter Mountain, Windham Mountain and Belleayre. Come explore the ski slopes in the winter, hit the Kaaterskills trails in the spring/fall, and enjoy the stars at night all year round. There are amazing restaurants and hidden treasures to discover throughout the town. It is the perfect place to unwind and escape the city life or just everyday life. The space This is a 6 bedroom, 8 bed, and 2 bathroom multi family cabin that sits on 5 acres in the heart of East Jewett, NY. It is surrounded by tall trees providing a secluded and private experience. Although it feels secluded it is just 8 minutes away from the quaint town of Tannersville and Hunter. There is also a Vermont fireplace for the folks that want to sit and watch the fun by the fire Kitchenette Sunlight fills the tall windows in the home, especially the sunroom where you can unwind and enjoy a good book. You may even spot wildlife like a deer! This is a space where you can also enjoy a workout, yoga or meditation. We provide complimentary yoga mats during your stay. Come enjoy the natural sunlight and serene mountain views The newly upgraded kitchens, yes there are two! Provides ample amount of space to prepare meals together. Our dining table comfortably seats 8 guests. And additional seating outside on the outdoor porch. We provide all the cookware, dining ware, glassware, and silverware needed to host a dinner party. There is a coffee machine and kettle to better serve your morning choice of beverage. There are complimentary coffee and tea bags available. Enjoy your mornings on the patio with your favorite coffee or tea while taking in the mountain views. In the living room upstairs, there is a 65in Smart TV and a Vermont style fireplace for those of you who prefer snuggling up to the fire or watching a good film. Let’s not forget the popcorn! You can stream Youtube, HBO max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Movies. Downstairs in the game room there is space to play and enjoy games. We have AirHockey, Foosball, Pac-man, and Arcade 1 games. During your stay, you will have high-speed Wifi so you can work comfortably and remotely in the mountains. We will provide the WIFi name and password upon booking confirmations As you explore the 5 acres of land surrounding the home, feel free to use the bbq, lounge chairs, outdoor table and chairs, as well as a large campfire pit. Perfect for nights outside with friends, family and loved ones. Small furry friends/pets (less than 45 lbs) are allowed for additional fee There will be complimentary towels, shampoo, and conditioner during your stay. Other things to note For young families, we have a highchair and a crib upon request . Keep in mind we have not child proofed the home so please be mindful while staying. The home doesn’t have central air conditioning yet, we hope to provide it in the future. For the time being we have a/c wall units. There is baseboard heating throughout the home for those cold nights. We have one Vermont style fireplace on the first and second floor which can heat the whole home. During the colder season when it snows, the driveway will be cleared and salted by our local snow plowing company. It is best to arrive during the day to ensure full visibility. Please plan accordingly. we suggest on snowy days to drive a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Wildlife is a friend of ours out in the mountains. You may encounter deer and bears, please be mindful/respectful and avoid leaving food/trash outside. Please keep trash and food in the bear proof trash bins. Feel free to pick up bottled water and ice upon arrival for your drinking water needs. The home is equipped with security cameras outside to provide the highest level of security.
