Hello visitors to St Croix! Quietly situated on a peaceful and private hillside overlooking the crystal clear waters of Christiansted, this island studio apartment features a queen-size bed, free unlimited WiFi, and remote-controlled air conditioning. Just minutes away from “downtown” where you'll find delicious dining, fantastic entertainment, and several local shops. Conveniently located near the QE IV Ferry and seaplane, should island hopping be part of your plan. The space Beautiful self-contained apartment, which is well equipped and fully furnished. Located about one mile from downtown Christiansted, where you can see places of interest, restaurants, and even a casino. From the downtown boardwalk, you can take a short ferry ride to the Protestant Cay (pronounced like “key”) Beach, which has a restaurant and water toys for rent. Looking for some additional beach options? The beautiful Buccaneer/Shaw and Cheney beaches are a quick 15-minute drive. Both beaches have restaurants and water sport equipment. Guest access Guests have access to the studio apparently, semi-private patio, and the front and side yard. Feel free to sample fruit from the trees when in season and ripe. Other things to note Make sure to reserve your rental car in advance. The public transportation on island is not like what is available in the states - taxis are available, but have some challenges as well. Getting to and from the apartment requires you have your own private transportation. —— Insects, and lizards, and frogs, OH MY! Be prepared to meet and interact with these typical island residents. My exterminator sprays the apartment and yard monthly. That being said, it isn’t uncommon to have a critter show up uninvited. Glue traps in the room are a part of the extermination treatment for the stray water bug or centipede. You are welcome to use the can of spray under the sink if you feel so inclined.
