Art cottage - really my dream home,

3 acres 1/2 acre fenced for pets, ocean view, brought art & antiques up from NYC. Renovated 150 yr old home for Mom now passed. Wood burning fireplace. Washer, dryer, gas stove, ice maker, great books fabulous art. lots of wild life. Beach 3 minutes by car. Neighborhood beach 10 minute walk. The space The art, books, furnishings and view make you want to stay forever. Also the corner store sells alcohol being 3 minutes away, as well the beach. There is a private beach for the neighborhood where you can walk your dog/s for miles off leash and pick oysters. The garden gets added to every year. In the spring lots of tulips and daffodils, 4 magnolias, peonies,6 lilacs, iris, lilies, hollyhocks in the late summer. Almost forgot - wisteria. Guest access The house is yours for the time rented. You will not see me unless requested. You will drive up most likely from Halifax and head toward Melmerby beach in Kings Head. The house is known as Old Tom MacQueen's house. His spirit sometimes shows up. He is curious. The house will be open when you arrive. The keyless operation is explained in the book. If you want me there when you arrive then I shall be. There is central air-conditioning. The fireplace works. Other things to note There are windows to watch the storms, look at the water and with the wood burning fireplace it's all too cozy. There is internet and cable and a PS3 player, lots of puzzles and games and a few toys for kids. Roku is available upstairs, cable and Roku downstairs. There is internet. Netflix, Disney plus, Paramount, you tube, Prime. Lots of books ! Flowers for the cutting, snips available. Easels are in shed. A primitive fire pit for s'mores. Probably more like a burn pile - had to cut up some trees - 2 apple trees. Down the road to the left (when looking at the water) is a neighborhood beach where doggo can run off lead. Also bring a bucket or bag for the oysters. The 2.81 acres are landscaped. I add a tree a year, Fiona took out 4 trees. I have been working at making it like a private park. My plantings are for privacy as well, I don't want to see the neighbors. It also makes it very quiet especially in the summer.
