The Blue Shack

The Blue Shack is a spacious two bedroom property close to beaches, walking tracks and cafes. Freshly renovated with modern facilities and comfortable beds. Our cosy beach shack is situated in a quiet street, is a 15 minute drive to the Devonport airport and a 5 minute drive to the local shopping precinct. There are two cafes within a short walk. We are also an hour drive from Launceston airport. There is ample parking, an enclosed, private backyard and undercover outdoor dining and bbq area The space There are two bedrooms each has a queen size bed with quality linen. There is a generous sized living area with 70 inch smart TV plus free Wifi. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all required utensils. There is a full size bath and separate shower for easy access. The laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer. Outside there is a secure, private back yard with an undercover patio area with bbq. The patio is North facing and is a great spot to sit and relax in the sun. If you are fortunate to stay between April and June you are welcome to help yourself to fresh passionfruit from the vine. Off-street parking is provided. The house is heated with a reverse cycle air conditioner. We provide a selection of board and card games. We can add also provide a port-a-cot upon request. Please note we also own a second Airbnb property next door to The Blue Shack. Our property next door is called “Portsea Cottage” and is a three bedroom property that can accommodate up to 6. Depending upon availability it may be an option to book both if you have a larger group. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and will not be sharing the property with other guests or the hosts.
