Description

Jazzrio is one of six historic cottages in a designated area of outstanding beauty, which also benefits from being south facing with private gardens for you to enjoy. centrally-located place. The space The space Jazzrio is a well-appointed, homely Cornish Cottage with bags of charm and character. Enter via porch leading to the light airy lounge. Soft furnishings and two comfortable sofas, also a smart TV(log in with your own netflix account) The kitchen and dining area has bags of character and is equipped with all you should need for your holiday stay. This area has a tiled floor, beamed ceiling, and a window looking out onto the back garden. Outside the back door - the private back garden where you will find seating for meals alfresco or morning coffee. Heading up the staircase to the second floor brings you to the first of the two bedrooms with a king-size bed and an extra thick mattress. The second bedroom has two 3ft single beds again with nice thick mattresses. Both rooms have a chest of drawers and hanging rails for your clothes. The bathroom is a generous size, with a shower over the bath,hand basin, dressing table, and seat. Guest access Guests are able to use the entire cottage. Ample space for suitcases/luggage located under the stairs or storage area near the back door. There is a small walled and gated front garden (great for a sunny morning cuppa ! ) and a back garden accessed via the back door. (There are steps leading to the second tier of the garden. This area is not completely enclosed, but it is private ). Children welcomed. However, please note there are no stair gates, socket covers, etc I have a high chair and travel cot, which is available upon request. please bring cot bedding. Jazzrio has been a family home for some years and continues to be well loved and cherished. This is our new chapter..... Other things to note Parking: Free and accessible. There is parking on Phillack Hill itself and further parking in Springfield Cresent (a quiet cul-de-sac) located a few steps on the left as you go back down the hill. Please be mindful not to block private driveways. Please do not park in the bays at the beginning of the terrace as they are privately owned and in constant use Thank you. The internal kitchen door is original so very old ! Please be mindful of this should you need to shut it. Definitely no slamming 😊 The kitchen work tops are solid pieces of chestnut wood. Please ensure chopping boards are used for cutting and preparing food Also, please use the work top protectors provided and be mindful of kitchen worktops with regards to water marks from metal cans,  causing dark rings /staining  The right oven of the cooker is currently out of use and has baking trays, etc, in it – please use the left side only – which is in fully working order with grill/oven & hobs There is an iron, ironing board,pegs, clothes airer, hoover, bucket & mop, and two extra fold upchairs for the garden should you need them. Recycling bags and black box are located in the utility room for your use should you need them. Don't worry about putting them out for collection. I can sort that as they are alternative weeks. thank you for taking the time to read these points 👍
