Welcome to Nowhere, our country home that sits less than 15 minutes from some of the best beaches along the Alentejo Coast, including Praia do Carvalhal and Zambujeira do Mar. It’s not just a house. It’s a home that embraces its guests from the moment they enter the gate. The space The carefully designed, fully renovated home has two bedrooms with queen beds, the second bedroom with a large loft and a pullout couch, along with two full baths, one with a deep soaking tub and the other with a rain shower. Guests can relax in the well-decorated living and dining room space, complete with plenty of games and bar accessories to keep you entertained. The home's kitchen also includes everything you'd need to make a feast, as well as all the coffee accessories you'd ever need, including a Moccamaster pot, French press, a Bialetti Moka, milk frother, and a cold brew maker. Outside you'll find two furnished outdoor patio spaces with BBQ, and plenty of spots to soak up the sun. There is a custom-made hot & cold outdoor shower, and a cool hammock swinging in the breeze. Unwind in our new 4-person electric sauna, nestled beneath old-growth cork trees with sweeping views of the property through an expansive picture window. Designed by Estonia's renowned Kuut Sauna, this premium retreat offers the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Nowhere sits on 1 hectare of fenced-in land, making it's own oasis to explore. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, including one side of the shed, which comes with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach games. Other things to note The home is decorated with items from our travels (Stacey is a travel journalist, and Silas is a photographer) around the world. We hope you feel like you're staying in a high-end hotel and your best friend's house all at the same time. Most of all, we want you to feel lighter, refreshed, and absolutely renewed by the time you leave. IMPORTANT NOTES TO CONSIDER BEFORE RENTING: - The home may be renovated, but its bones are older. Please DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper down the drain as our bio-septic system is unable to process wastewater the same way that city sewers can. Feminine products and other personal care products can go in the trash bins next to the toilet. - Please ONLY use the soap provided for outdoor shower. It is biodegradable soap, so it does not hurt the plants, insects, and animals living on the land too. - The septic is only meant for up to 6 people maximum, so no parties, and no extra guests allowed. - Absolutely NO smoking inside the house. Do not throw ANY cigarette butts on the land. Not only could this cause a fire, but is dangerous to the animals who also call this land home. Please use the ashtray provided. - The home is not what we would consider suitable for small children. It is not babyproofed, there is an open loft, a staircase, and a patio without railings. We suggest if you have children younger than 5 years old, this may not be the home for you. - The home is dog friendly (for a small additional cleaning fee), but please keep pets off the furniture. We have a dog ourselves, so please note, if you are allergic to dogs, this is likely not the best option for you. SAUNA USE: To account for the added electricity costs, there is a 10€/day fee for use of the sauna. Registration Details 146803/AL
