Glasshouse in the woods
Admire tall cedars, moss covered maples and giant swordferns during your stay in this unique tiny glass house. You’ll feel like you’re living in a fairytale forest where baby deer roam freely and birds delightfully chirp. Take a nap and then bathe in a clawfoot tub, stroll the forest and stargaze by the fire. This glass house offers an experience that leaves you rested and inspired. Within its 12x16’ frame, this tiny house offers everything you need to enjoy the forest in comfort and style. Avid cooks will approve the thoughtfully equipped kitchen with oven/air fryer, fridge with freezer, portable stove and all basic cooking tools. A clawfoot tub is the perfect place to have a drink or a meal. Blackout curtains provide privacy. The firepit allows you to enjoy the outdoors into the night. Cellular service is quite good for those who need to stay connected. The cabin is a great base for exploring the Olympic National Park, Ocean Shores, Puget Sound and Hood Canal. Enjoy the scenic drive on roads that are lined with tall evergreens characteristic of the Pacific Northwest. Along the way you’ll discover little stores that offer fresh local seafood including oysters and clams. Our property is 10 acres. The forest feels bigger here because many nearby properties are undeveloped. Please note that this is forest land with common wild animals including raccoons, foxes and deer. Bear poop and cougar tracks have been sighted though the real animals have not been seen. Bugs and mice love trees and bushes as much as we do. The parking area is approximately 100 feet from the tiny house. There is another cabin on the property that is also about 100 feet away with guests who seek refuge in nature like you. Our goal is to provide you with privacy and comfortable amenities for your stay. We look forward to sharing our bit of paradise with you.
