The nice individuals experiencing homelessness sometimes enjoy the peace this area of town brings the community. Located on the main street, next door to restaurants and shopping, only 1 mile to the beach! Whether you're a couple, friends or a solo traveler, we welcome you! Open concept living room and kitchen/dining room, with the bathroom off the adjoining bedroom. Bedroom features a very comfy queen sized bed and dresser for clothing storage. Kitchen is fully stocked with an island for dining. Guests have a private entrance to access the apartment only. I generally do not meet guests in person, although if needed I can. Check-in and check-out are contactless. If any needs arise during your stay, either I or one of my crew members will be there to help. We are always a text away. The Market House is a vintage gem in the heart of downtown Michigan City's Uptown Arts District, just 1 mile from the shores of Lake Michigan (only a 15 minute walk to the beach)! The area is a burgeoning semi-urban community with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and breweries all located within walking distance of the apartment. Additionally, you'll find Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets just 4 blocks away. If you're looking for nature, look no further than the Indiana Dunes National Park, whose points of interest begin just a 5 minute drive down the road. You're also just a 15-minute drive from Harbor Country, Michigan, where you can find countless wineries and microbreweries. Neighborhood is very pedestrian-friendly, has bike lanes, and plenty of free public parking. PLEASE NOTE: The Market House is not wheelchair accessible nor suitable for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs.
