The Copper Barn

Welcome to the Copper Barn! Completely renovated the 1900 barn- converting it into a luxurious vacation rental in the heart of the Fingerlakes. Over 50 wineries/breweries are within 30 miles as well as numerous hiking/biking trails. The barn is located next door to our 5* Airbnb “Fingerlakes Wine Country Suite” (with the barn sleeps 8pp). We designed the barn w/ 3 private units all w/ full baths-so family/friends can enjoy time together yet have time alone. The barn sleeps 6 comfortably. The space Centrally located in the quant village of Dresden on Seneca Lakes west shore. Enjoy our newly renovated 2 bedroom, plus studio apartment with 2 fully stocked kitchens, covered patio with gardens and huge deck with a partial view of Seneca Lake. The lower level boasts a gourmet granite kitchen with breakfast bar seating 4. The open floor plan has a dining table for 6. The living area can sleep 2 with a comfortable queen Murphy bed w/ quality linens and hotel pillows. A corner gas fireplace adds warmth and ambience. The French doors open onto a lovely covered slate patio. We enclosed part of the patio with original flooring from our 1865 farm house next door. The barn door is hinged so you can enjoy a cozy alcove or play darts on the opposite side. The full bathroom is tiled w/ a 4’ shower and vessel sink. The common stairwell leads to the second floor where 2 more private units are located. The upstairs boosts a gorgeous quartz kitchen and living room including a 52” TV. 8’ tall sliding doors open onto a 10’x 20’ deck where you can enjoy a partial lake view sunrises,sip coffee and dine under the stars. Cozy Bedroom w/ high quality queen bed and corner work space with lots of natural light. Across the hall, with its own separate entrance- is a spacious master suite. The large picture framed windows offer spectacular views of our 100 year old maple tree. The en-suite bathroom has a 5’ walk in floor to ceiling tiled shower. There is plenty of storage in the oversized closet. This unit has its own mini frig, microwave and coffee maker. The setup allows complete privacy for family/friends to enjoy time together-then retire to separate spaces for time alone. The unit can be booked with our 5*Fingerlakes Wine Country Suite to accommodate up to 8 guests. Guest access Guests have a backyard garden area including picnic table, sofa and dining area even a dart board. Off the upstairs unit is a large 10’ x 20’ deck with umbrella/table and additional seating to enjoy the partial lake view. Access to bicycles,helmets,tennis equipment ,fishing poles,camp chairs,cooler and picnic basket. We can offer a seasonal propane fire pit and gas grill ( small surcharge) .
