We are using Urquhart and Hunt (you might of heard of them as they won Chelsea with their wilding garden) to help us transform our land. We have already planted 100 trees and have a plan for 100s more including naturalising bulbs and meadows. The immediate area will be an edible forest, with maple and birch trees for syrup tapping, fruit and berry trees and hedging and walnut trees. Our boundaries are marked by fencing and we ask that if you'd like to go for a walk you access the various foot paths around from the road. Other things to note We will consider 1 night stays please contact us if you are unable to stay with us for the minimum of two nights. We take our impact on our surroundings seriously and as we're re wilding so please only use the gorgeous natural products provided by us or bring your own eco products so that we aren't putting any chemical nasties into the soil. There is a small campsite opposite us called the Green Heart Wild camp space that holds retreats sometimes. During the colder months the bathing options are definitely a more bracing affair. The bath is not a hot tub so the length of time it stays warm is affected by the temperature outside. Wellies or walking boots are essential to your trip incase its wet and muddy. We can provide recommendations and taxi numbers if you need.
