Guest access The entire cabin and property are yours — make yourself completely at home. Every room, the deck, the hot tub, the theater, the firepit, and the dog run are all part of your private stay. The only spaces off-limits are a locked owner's storage closet and a locked basement storage room. Your stay also includes access to the Coosawattee River Resort amenities — outdoor pools, an indoor heated pool and fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, river parks for tubing and fishing, and walking trails. We provide two resort passes (good for up to 8 people). It's all there if you want it, and easy to skip if you'd rather not leave the deck. Other things to note A couple of honest heads-ups to help you plan: The Coosawattee River Resort is beautifully spread out, so the pools and rec center are a short drive from the cabin rather than steps away — worth knowing if pool time is a priority. The cozy gas fireplace is available seasonally, from the end of October through the first week of April. All roads to the cabin are fully paved — no 4-wheel drive or steep gravel to worry about, day or night. Good to know before booking: The primary guest must be 25 or older, and we ask that a quick gate-access form and hot tub waiver be signed at least 48 hours before arrival (we'll send the links). Full house rules are listed separately — nothing surprising, just the basics that keep Bear Necessity special for the next guests too.
