This 18th century farmhouse nestles in the foothills of the Pre-Pyrenees. It enjoys all-day sun, and exceptional views of the Lluçanès landscape. The surrounding 230 acres of woodland and meadows provide exceptional peace and make it a paradise for wild flora and fauna. Details such as en-suite bathrooms, under-floor heating and luxury kitchen complement the original timber and stonework to ensure a beautiful and comfortable stay. It is only a 2 km walk from the lovely village of Alpens. The space The solid masonry farm buildings are founded on bedrock of the south-facing slopes of the pre-Pyrenees. This privileged position affords a brilliancy of light which accentuates the charming rural landscape of Lluçanes, panoramas that change with the season. The owners reside in the main house. The antique barn and grain store, at some distance away, has been transformed into a welcoming rural guest house. The first floor has four comfortable double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Three of the rooms have double beds and one has two single beds. Access to each room is from the outside through a robust wooden balcony, an arrangement that gives privacy to each room and continuity with the natural surroundings. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant shared living space. There is a spacious and well equipped kitchen complete with island, gas stove with five burners, two ovens, microwave, dishwasher etc. As well as a large table for up to ten diners, there are smaller tables and comfortable chairs and sofas to relax in. The large doors and sliding windows open onto front and rear patios which are well furnished with garden tables with sun-shades and plenty of easy chairs. A separate entrance leads to a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and easy access. Steps lead down to the lower lawn where you will find a salt-water swimming pool with a large terrace and enough sun-loungers for everyone.
