Located right inside the Town of Fairplay, the cabin is the perfect escape for an easy, long weekend near the Famous Colorado Rocky Mountains. Neighboring tiny homes and park model trailers are close to the property. This is a tight-knit, welcoming mountain community. This quaint, 675 sq. ft. mini cabin has one private bedroom on the first floor featuring a comfortable queen bed, one full bathroom with shower/ tub combo, an upstairs bedroom (featuring two twin beds with height restricted ceilings), and an upstairs loft space that can sleep up to 2 additional people. A queen size self inflating air mattress is available for guests who prefer to stay in the living area, near the electric fire place- for a cozy indoor glamping experience. The loft space is one open room with a double sized folding futon. The loft space also has height restricted ceilings at 48" and a low railing that overlooks the living area. Fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and everything you need to make a home cooked meal. You’ll have access to the entire 675sq ft cabin. A log cabin themed tiny home by design, floor 1 includes a living/ kitchen/ dining area combo and electric fire place, a full bathroom with tub/ shower combo, and the primary bedroom. The Second floor includes a loft that looks below to the living area and private second bedroom. There are two porches, including one right off the primary bedroom through a glass patio door. The community clubhouse located at the entrance of the Whispering Aspens neighborhood offers a shared hot tub (OPEN MEMORIAL DAY THRU LABOR DAY ONLY), an outdoor fire pit, and shared grills for your use. The Club House is only a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the cabin. I am available at all times via airbnb app or text or call, if its urgent. I prefer to only communicate via Airbnb Messenger for the protection and security of all parties. The Whispering Aspens neighborhood is located within the city limits of Fairply, CO. The community is a small, tiny home community. Parking for two cars is available for free directly in front of the cabin, on the concrete driveway. Parking along streets is prohibited. There is currently no public transportation in Fairplay. The cabin is a tiny home by design. Ceilings on 2nd floor are height restricted at 48”. The tiny home also has a tiny water heater, following the tiny home design. Parking for two cars is available directly in front of the cabin via the front driveway. ⚠️No Street Parking permitted. The electric fire place and space heaters are available for your use during the winter months in addition to a brand new furnace installed spring 2022. Whispering Aspens is a dog friendly community. Please keep your dog on a leash when outside. Small dogs weighing less than 25lbs are permitted when added to your reservation. Please ensure you add your pet to your reservation.
