Finca Cacique is a full immersion in a pretty preserved wild nature. We rent a 20 square meters private entrance apartment, 350 meters far from the village of Cacique, between a private tropical park and a 5 min walk natural lagoon. THE BEST of our offer is that you can forget your car (as we are located near all main destinations) and rent our kayaks to go all around the islands and the tunnel of love. For nature's lovers only.. (Please notice that is not a beach front property). The space In Finca Cacique we rent 1 studio and 1 apartment. This studio (20mt) is a room with a queen bed and a private bathroom. Inside there is a kitchenette with 2 electric burners for cooking and AC. Traditional rustic bambu furniture blends into exotic tropical environment. Guest access The shared areas are the park and the patio all around. In the green areas you could drink some coffee, read a book, or simply watch the tropical animals that come to visit us (monkeys, sloths, birds..). In the garden you can sunbath and of course rest on the hammocks. Other things to note This private studio is also ideal to enjoy for a long term stay. You will have a kitchenette inside the room and access to a small common kitchen area. Also, there's a good French restaurant at walking distance and another Panamanian style food restaurant. Our amenity includes high-speed WiFi service, making it ideal for people that work remotely!!! Be aware that we are located 20 km far from Portobelo so it is better to have a car, but we could also help you arrange private transportation, or you could travel by bus and taxi to get here or to get back to the city. Also, please note that because this is a remote location, electricity blackouts may occur during your stay. Cacique is one of the last natural paradise of the area: from the Finca without using car, in a few minutes walking, you can reach wonderful places: little white sand beaches, natural pools where to swim and snorkel.. Absolutely recommended to go kayaking (we rent 2 single ones) all around the islands we have in front of us and through the tunnel of love between mangroves. Or (to reach by car) the trekking La Represa where you can walk till the real virgin forest where jaguars and harpia eagles live. And of course have a tour to Isla Grande, Isla Mamey, Isla el Sordo, Isla Paulina, Isla Linton, Tunnel of Love, Playa Blanca, Venas azules.. Everything starting from here by local boat.
