1880s Victorian nestled in Marquette’s quiet and historic east side, steps from stunning Lake Superior and all the shops and restaurants of downtown Marquette. The space This beautiful old Victorian house was built in 1880 but has an addition that expanded it to four bedrooms, three living spaces, and nearly 3,000 square feet. High ceilings, big windows, and a spacious floor plan make our home into a stunning lake retreat. On the main floor, there are two connected living rooms that flow into a generous dining room that can seat up to 10. The house has a large modern kitchen with Bosch appliances and wood countertops. In the back of the house is a huge den with a 58-inch TV and sectional sofa ready for lounging. On the second floor, there is a large master bedroom with a king bed and private bath, reading nook, and spiral staircase to the den downstairs. The second and third bedrooms have queen beds and share a large bathroom with the fourth bedroom, which has a full and twin bed. The front bedroom offers big windows and a peek at Lake Superior a few blocks away. The house has three staircases for lots of privacy and easy access to bedrooms. Guest access The entire house is available for guest use with the exception of the basement. Other things to note The home has a shared driveway with our neighbor. There is room for two cars to park in line in the home’s designated parking area at the end of the driveway. The shared driveway cannot be blocked at anytime. All other vehicles should utilize the street parking. Please note: from November thru March there is no overnight street parking available due to snow plow restrictions. For guests with young children, the home has three separate staircases (including a spiral staircase) to access the second floor and we ask parents to please exercise caution.
