The house is in a prim location within steps to the finish line of the Ironman Race & less then 1/2 mi to downtown, Mirror Lake beach & the Olympic Arena. Walking distance to it all the restaurants, nightlife, stores, & boutiques. Our house is old with creaky floors, and squeaky doors but we've done a lot of renovating & upgrading to make it feel homey, comfortable, and beautiful. The mornings can be quite enjoyable with breakfast or coffee on the patio listening to the bird's chirp. The deck also has a Weber grill perfect for a fun BBQ cookout. The wrap around porch has a little hidden nook which is perfect spot to curl up with a book. The porch is a great spot for a workspace or to enjoy a few evening cocktails. The yard has a hedgerow on the side of the house to keep it secluded, creating the prefect space for a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing or a fun game of cornhole. In the evenings you can unwind and reminisce around the fire pit. This is a great home for the whole family to enjoy. Just down the street from Big zs' Bowling & Family Center, & right next door to the finish line for The Ironman Race. Placid XPRSS is Lake Placid Village's free public transit system. Placid XPRSS is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. This service runs the circuit through the business areas in the town of Lake Placid. Just find a sign and flag it down! Pick up spot just a 2 min walk from our house. The Mountain Valley Shuttle is a free shuttle service that runs during the winter season between Lake Placid and Whiteface with several stops in Lake Placid and Wilmington. A shuttle pick up is just a 2 min walk from our house. Guest must be able to climb stairs. Bedroom are all located upstairs on the second floor.
