This spacious and beautiful 3 bedrooms maisonette at Racers Retreat Chalet 4 is on three levels; it is in the area of Innerwengen and part of the car-limited mountain village of Wengen The chalet is located 1.3 Km from Wengen train station and 350 m from the Innerwengen ski chair lift and the finish line of the Lauberhorn World-Cup Ski races The chalet is reachable along a gently rolling 15 minutes scenic walk from central Wengen or by taxi The chalet is in an idyllic, sunny and quiet area The space The “Hop in nest” is a semi-detached 132m2 Chalet; it has it’sits own private entrance, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 of them en-suite). It fits 4 adults and up to 3 children. The property has a classic modern Alpine chalet-style feel. The glazed floor-to-ceiling doors offer superb views of the mountains and open out onto the west-facing balcony (8m2) which is perfect for outside dining. Kitchen: The stylish kitchen is fully equipped and connected with a spacious dining/living area with wooden beams. The kitchen is well equipped for “home” cooking and entertaining. It includes an electric ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher. As part of the kitchen equipment, you have a cheese fondue coquelon and raclette grill. Living room: The spacious and bright living room has access to the balcony. There is a TV, a nice comfortable sofa and dinner table (165x90). Bedrooms: First floor: There are two bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom features a double bed (160x200cm), has an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower and west facing balcony (7 m2). The second Bedroom features two single beds (80x200 & 120x200) and an en-suite bathroom with a large overhead shower. Ground Floor: The third large bedroom features a double bed (160x200cm), a sofa bed (190x140) and a terrace (10 m2), it is located on the ground floor and has an adjacent bathroom with shower. Second Floor: The second floor has an under the roof loft (low ceiling) accessed by a steep wooden ladder and has two single mattresses (90x200) and double mattress (160x200). We do recommend this room to grown up children/adults (but not grandma/pa). The utility room with washing and drying machine and central heating system (underfloor heating in the all house) is located on the basement. The apartment amenities include shower gel, shampoo, hand washing, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, dish soap and bin bags. The chalet is suitable for families without pets and we only accept Non-smokers. For your winter fun, there are 2 sledges (Davos style) and a children Sledge (1-3 years) available free of charge. Other things to note Please note: There is a Visitors’ Tax payable (by law) in addition to the booking costs which needs to be paid separately and offers local discounts on some activities. It is CHF 4.30 per adult per night, CHF 1.80 for 6/16 year old per night for 6 – 16 year olds.
